Prior to founding KAUF Leaders & Ventures, Andreas Kauf worked for Heidrick & Struggles, an American executive search firm for fourteen years. As a partner, he was responsible for technology and services. He managed, among other things, the implementation of a Software Practice in Europe, was responsible for 2 global accounts, initiated the Big Data Practice and supported the transfer of managers into non-technological sectors to be responsible for digital innovation there.

In addition, he worked as the Director of Internet Capital Group, an American venture capital company that invests in innovative companies across all sectors. His professional career began in a European management consultancy.

Mr. Kauf has lived in Asia, North America and Europe. He studied at ESSEC, Paris; University of Mannheim; Doshisha University, Kyoto; and Georgetown University, Washington, D.C, where he completed a Master of Science, a post-graduate programme and an Executive MBA. He is married and has 4 children.

Vanessa Vrdoljak leads and coordinates ongoing projects. Additionally, she supervises the use of our diagnostic solutions and supports various formats, which KAUF Leaders & Ventures deploys to discretely connect leaders and companies.

In the past, Ms. Vrdoljak worked for an Executive Search consultancy with focus on healthcare, supported the chairman of the board of a clinic group and held roles in the banking industry.

Ms. Vrdoljak holds a master's degree in literature and history from the University of Augsburg. She lived abroad during her studies and is fluent in English and Croatian.

Nikolas has been with us for several years, is a working student and coordinates our research team.

He also supports KAUF Leaders & Ventures in carrying out market research and assists various formats, which we deploy to engage with managers and companies.

He studies computer science and statistics at the Ludwig Maximilian University.
