Andreas Kauf, Managing Director
Prior to founding KAUF Leaders & Ventures, Andreas Kauf worked for Heidrick & Struggles, an American executive search firm for fourteen years. As a partner, he was responsible for technology and services. He managed, among other things, the implementation of a Software Practice in Europe, was responsible for 2 global accounts, initiated the Big Data Practice and supported the transfer of managers into non-technological sectors to be responsible for digital innovation there.
In addition, he worked as the Director of Internet Capital Group, an American venture capital company that invests in innovative companies across all sectors. His professional career began in a European management consultancy.
Mr. Kauf has lived in Asia, North America and Europe. He studied at ESSEC, Paris; University of Mannheim; Doshisha University, Kyoto; and Georgetown University, Washington, D.C, where he completed a Master of Science, a post-graduate programme and an Executive MBA. He is married and has 4 children.
Stefanie Deutzer, Office Manager
Stefanie Deutzer supports KAUF Leaders & Ventures in all operational matters. She looks after clients, accompanies projects and supervises events as well as other formats which KAUF Leaders & Ventures works with to discreetly connect leaders and companies.
Previously, Ms. Deutzer worked for an international financial services company as a Customer Relationship Manager.
Ms. Deutzer holds a master's degree in law, Italian philology and American studies from the LMU Munich. She is a certified translator and interpreter of English and Italian with a focus on technology. She has lived in London and Rome and is admitted as a court interpreter.
Yvonne Hitchcock, Project Manager
Yvonne Hitchcock coordinates ongoing mandates and manages other employees, both internally and externally. Mrs. Hitchcock also accompanies the implementation of our diagnostics solution and supports various formats which Kauf Leaders & Ventures works with to discreetly connect leaders and companies.
In the past Mrs. Hitchcock supported Mr. Kauf as a consultant in an international Executive Search consultancy. Her focus was on technology and services. For the last 11 years, Mrs. Hitchcock lived in South Africa. There she worked in a recruitment firm and supported a start-up business in organisational and HR matters. Lately she managed a manufacturing business with 12 employees.
Mrs. Hitchcock is a business economist. She graduated from Arnhem Business School in the Netherlands. Mrs. Hitchcock speaks fluent English. She is married and a mother of 2 children.
Verena Seeher, Project Manager
Verena Seeher supervises and coordinates ongoing projects. She also accompanies the implementation of our diagnostics solution and supports various formats which KAUF Leaders & Ventures works with to discreetly connect leaders and companies.
In the past Ms. Seeher already worked for Mr. Kauf in an international Executive Search consultancy. Ms. Seeher gained further working experience in Germany as well as abroad while working in different consultancies and supporting a start-up in its early stages.
Ms. Seeher is attaining her Master in Management at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Prior to that, she studied Business Administration and Economics at University of Passau. She lived in several countries and speaks fluent English.
Markus Karl, Senior Analyst
Markus Karl provides the roadmap for companies that KAUF Leaders & Ventures can ideally support. Sweeping innovative processes of change are challenging tasks for management. Mr. Karl analyses the challenges, the competitive environment and the specific requirements for the managers. It is this profound knowledge that helps KAUF Leaders & Ventures to support customers individually and to form clusters of experience from which we recruit management.
Mr. Karl has been successfully operating in the investment business for many years. Amongst other things he worked for a bank for 15 years and was accredited at several stock exchanges. During this time he was responsible for proprietary trading and factorage as well as the business segment Institutional Sales. Mr. Karl has a degree as a business economist (VWA), is married and has 2 children.
Nikolai Arras, Junior Project Manager
Nikolai Arras supports KAUF Leaders & Ventures in ongoing mandates and with the use of our KL | Diagnostic Suite. He supports KAUF Leaders & Ventures in ongoing mandates and with the use of our KL | Diagnostic Suite. He also assists in market analysis and conducts surveys, which KAUF Leaders & Ventures uses to identify and to actively accompany relevant topics.
In the past, Mr. Arras gained professional experience in an innovative SAAS-Start-up and as an independent event manager for young companies in the technology sector.
Mr. Arras studies business psychology in Cologne. Furthermore, he took special courses in international management at the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. He speaks fluent English.
